	Case Studies - Government & Municipality The City of Newark New Jersey City of Newark, New Jersey's customized DocuShare solution, Newark Document Express (NDEX), helps 12 city departments collaboratively capture, manage, publish and share their electronic content. Newark New Jersey - eWeek Article Newark New Jersey - Case Study Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) SRC allowed DPW to leverage its existing investment in Xerox hardware and software to create a series of user-friendly forms all located within a DocuShare digital repository. Facing a lawsuit from a disabled working suing to get his job back, DPW and SRC devised a method of creating user-friendly PDF forms which all case workers can now fill out online. In addition to increased efficiency, the agency avoided a lawsuit and got an early start on complying with new privacy regulations. Workflow and technical consultation is ongoing. SRC takes DPW virtually paperless thanks to a powerful combination of Xerox software (DocuShare) and hardware (such as DocuMate 632 scanners). Workflow has been effectively re-engineered, costs are down and the potential for human error has been greatly mitigated. DPW - Case Study Pennsylvania State Troopers Association This project involved the installation of new scanning-enabled Xerox hardware, PC workstations, a DocuShare digital repository and the integration of all components. The PA State Troopers Association’s goal was to find a more efficient method of accessing client records, grievance information, contracts and other paper documents.
